Feast with friends!

Looking for a decent lunch whilst out and about? You’ll find Bawtry just 10 minutes off the A1 at Blyth, and it’s well worth calling by for a sandwich. Feast with Friends is a small, family run sandwich shop and catering business run by a husband and wife team whose main aim in life is to make you the ultimate sandwich. We aren’t talking sliced white and a spread of something hydrogenated – Feast pride themselves on good quality, fresh ingredients and make as much as they can on the premises. Ask for a ham sandwich and you’re likely to be offered three or four kinds of bread (granary, bloomer, crusty farmhouse, Panini) with the choice of real butter, mayonnaise, mustard, any one of half a dozen homemade pickles and chutneys, and the ham will be home cooked, thick sliced and simply delicious. Then there are the big bowls of mixed salad leaves, sliced tomatoes and cucumber, homemade coleslaw and other salads. Fancy something a bit more substantial? Take a seat in the big picture window and watch the world go by as you demolish a Feast Breakfast – you’ve never seen a plateful like it. Sausage, bacon, tomatoes, beans, eggs and big slabs of toast. Wash it all down with a proper cappuccino or giant cup of tea and you’ll be fit to go again. Call ahead on 01302 714500 and order your food to go. You’ll find Feast on Station Road, Bawtry, next door but one to the Post Office.
